In 2014, Jacky made it on the “big screen” at Nashville’s Belcourt theatre, thanks to a documentary she was featured in about songwriters. June 2013
The following summer, the august was handed over another $5,000 check thanks to an unforgettable contest called “Land the Big Gig.” They came in 2nd place for a battle of the bands that just happened to take place at Milwaukee’s Summerfest—one of the biggest music fests in the country.

Keeping the ball rolling on the music contest scene, the august entered Greenbrier’s “Got Country Class” competition in Georgia in April of 2012. The band was thrilled to finish first in the contest, winning them $5,000 and an opening slot for Toby Keith and Lionel Richie that summer.
